Mobile Air Transfer System (MATS) offers a safe, efficient, and comfortable solution for laterally transferring dependent or partially dependent patients. By using a cushion of air beneath a perforated mattress, the system lifts the patient gently off the surface, reducing physical strain on caregivers and minimizing patient discomfort.
Ideal for hospitals and healthcare facilities, MATS supports patients up to 550 lbs (250 kg) and should not be used for those with spinal fractures unless clinically approved. Designed for ease of use, only two caregivers are typically needed per transfer, and the system can remain under the patient for future repositioning, saving time and effort.
